All Physiotherapists at the clinic have completed postgraduate university training
and are involved in teaching and continuing education. This means that you are being treated by highly qualified people at the forefront of new developments in the management of musculoskeletal disorders.
Zolie Glonek
Zolie graduated from the Auckland School of Physiotherapy. He holds a post-graduate diploma in Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy and is a member
of the International Federation of Manipulative Therapists. He is also a licensed Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) practitioner who trained under Dr. Chan Gunn, in Vancouver. Prior to his studies in Physiotherapy, Zolie obtained a Diploma in Massage Therapy at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. Zolie serves as a teaching assistant on national post-graduate physiotherapy diploma courses and for the undergraduate physiotherapy program at the University of British Columbia. Zolie’s treatment philosophy incorporates hands-on joint manipulation, massage therapy, IMS and exercises for pain relief. He is currently studying Osteopathic Manual Therapy at the Canadian College of Osteopathy. Zolie’s interests include snowshoeing, fly-fishing, soccer and spending time with his family. He speaks Hungarian fluently.
Kenny Mark
Kenny holds both a Bachelors of Health Science Degree in Physiotherapy and
a Bachelors of Science Degree in Kinesiology. He acquired his physiotherapy
skills from studies in New Zealand, Australia and Canada. He is certified by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute to practice acupuncture. Kenny also completed a Certificate of Orthopaedic Manual/Manipulative Therapy in Perth, Australia.
In past work experiences, Kenny often found that there is just not enough time to thoroughly treat his patients. It has been much more satisfying to have the opportunity to work one-to-one with his patients at Fairview Physiotherapy as he has discovered greater success with his patients by being able to provide personalized attention to them.
Kenny has a special interest in sports injuries, headaches, whiplash, and neck/back injuries. He continues to be dedicated to improving his skills and knowledge through post-graduate studies in craniosacral therapy and visceral manipulation, to complement his manual therapy skills, enabling him to treat all varieties of musculo-skeletal injuries. Kenny’s treatment philosophy incorporates manual therapy, acupuncture and exercise to produce the best treatment results. He finds acupuncture to be especially beneficial in dampening the patient’s pain, allowing him to utilize his manual therapy techniques more effectively.
Outside of Physiotherapy, Kenny’s interests include photography, snowboarding, rollerblading and hiking. He speaks Cantonese fluently.
